The quality of images coming thru here must be somewhat intimidating for those folk who have a tripod and a DLSR and taking a few static widefields..heck the quality is so high I feel intimidated to post my humble efforts..assuming I had any recently...so this is my idea..say each month members can nominate someone they think really should move to the other section which we associate with "better" images.
Once three nominations have been made that's it...any other nominations go to the next batch...and we could do this each full Moon..the nominated member can of course decline...maybe only one and a seconder?

What do you think of my idea and can you suggest improvements.

Alex, there's no restriction on members as to which section they'd like to post their images.

The Beginner's section was introduced so new members don't feel intimidated or they'd like more advice on their work.

It's up to the individual to choose which section to post their images.
