Celestron AVX German equatorial mount (GEM) with tripod, perfect for both visual observation and astrophotography. The mount is designed for smooth and accurate tracking, with a 30 lb (14 kg) payload capacity, ideal for handling various telescope sizes and configurations.
The mount is in excellent condition, having been used only half-a-dozen times. It was purchased as a reserve/backup mount and is no longer needed. Its performance was quite good for an entry level mount and it can produce images with nice round stars.
It was purchased from a reputable Australian dealer in October 2022 and is six months old (proof of purchase can be provided). As an added bonus, given the mount is new it is still under Celestron's warranty for your peace of mind.
The package includes all original accessories, such as the NexStar+ hand controller, counterweight, and power cable and will be shipped in its original packaging.
