It’s been quite a while since I last posted. Mainly thanks to constant bad weather.

NGC 3324 is an open cluster in the constellation Carina. Located at a distance of 9100 light years away. NGC 3324 is lies within IC 2599 as an emission nebula.

NGC 3293 is an open cluster located near NGC 3324. The cluster has several bright blue stars which are blue supergiants. There is also a pulsating red supergiant at 7th magnitude.

Thanks Mike,

Its good to get back into imaging again. The whole La Nina was a pain at my location in the mountains.

I uploaded a close up of NGC 3324, got some nice details from my FLT 91 refactor.

Great stuff Ben, some lovely processing there . When I recently imaged Gabriella, I went for more contrast but I do also like the brighter look
