An amazing run last week with clear nights let me get some nice data on the windy banana!
Prepared in modified foraxx w/ rgb stars for a total of ~32hrs integration.

Sometimes it pays to scroll down the ‘deep sky’ page… Missed this beauty! That’s a really interesting target. Looks kinda plain from far back till you start zooming in and it’s just full of interesting detail. Really cool

They are great images Adam. James Dunlop discovered NGC 3199 in 1826.

Thanks Dave!! :) I love this target too! Touch fainter than alot of the Carina nebs but quite unique so well worth the effort! Would love someone with a large newt to have a go at this, theres definitely structures there I couldnt resolve really well with the 120.
Cheers Glen! Saw that :) It gets a little ridiculous when you look at his Wiki how many DSO's Mr Dunlop discovered. Nothing like being an astronomer in the 19th century huh? :D He and the Herschel siblings' names pop up sooo often.
