time to upgrade

Hello dear friends, haven't been very active recently on astro due to crap weather and lotsa work, but now hope to get back on the old horse. My 10plus year old Toshiba Quosmio running W8 is showing some grey hairs and I want to upgrade to at least W10 lappie maybe that can run all the usual plus TheSKyX. I noticed recently you need W10-11 to update TSX.
Any advice?
I'm happy with a second hand jobbie.

I forgot to ask- how easy is it to port TSX over to a new computer?
