La Niña has officially gone according to the BOM and the SOI is now at neutral so why are we having continuous cloudy weather on the east coast of NSW with moist easterly warm air streams.
Usually by mid April we have west / south west dry cooler air streams with the occasional southerly on the NSW eastern seaboard

Strange ?

Just venting a bit !!

Is La Niña still haunting us coastal huggers !!

You can blame me guys. I got back my upgraded Newt recently but haven’t been able to image with it yet due to cloud tax.

La Nina still going strong here in Melbourne, as I sit listening to the rain on the roof...

Agreed, Martin. It’s been pretty poor of late!

Last new moon I was at my astro property which is 3 hours inland of the coast. I had 6 perfect days and nights without a cloud in the sky. For the first time in 2 or 3 years it felt like the old days, before the marathon La Nina was wrecking astronomy.

I live in the Central West of NSW...I've been thinking of putting some clouds in the For Sale section. I seem to have plenty of them... :cloudy:

Fellow ISS'ers:

Don't worry, it's also been really cloudy here on the west coast!

This week is looking clear in Perth for some stargazing finally :astron:
