Hi
Heres the Triffid with Houghys cooled DSLR
3x10 mins ISO400, UV/IR filter. MPCC. 10 inch f5.6 newtonian, off axis hand guided. Processed with a dark, flat and offset in Iris as usual, then Photoshop and resized in PSP4. Fighting a bit of wind at the time. Off axis hand guided.

Ironically at the time I was listening to a radio walkman when a song was played that mentioned looking at stars. Thats exactly what I was doing, looking at one and striving to keep it as stationary as possible in the red glowing reticle hehehe.

Sensational Scott. Nice tight round stars and flowing nebulosity. Great detail within the dark lanes.

Hooly-Dooly Scott!!! Excellent image!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a fantastic shot. The blue reflection Nebula is visible around the entire red emission Nebula.
