I know about the Gerd Neuman camera tilt unit and it seems to be the gold standard. But I occasionally hear of other types out there.
What would you recommend for a camera tilt corrector?
Greg.

I’m currently looking into https://octopi.space/
It’s certainly not cheap but I’m hearing some good reviews due to their compactness.

The Baader one looks good. It's a bit thinner than the Gerd Neuman one which I mainly hear about. But it still has the side screw adjustments rather than on the face where they are hard to get to.
Also quite a bit cheaper. I have a set of Baader eyepieces and they are very high quality so Baader are a reliable brand for me,

Despite them saying their adapter is thin it's quite a bit thicker than the Baader or the Gerd Neuman. 10mm versus 17.5mm.

This is true, but is is also a backspacing unit and has lateral displacement adjustment built in, so you save some BF there.
I'm making one of these now for a customer, for a large square camera, which will have tilt, lateral adjustment and backspacing adjustment all independent of each other.
You have my attention with all those independent adjustments. With backspacing, how many mm does this device use?
Hi Greg,
I don't know about best, but I do like the simplicity of the push-pull screw tilt adjusters built in to the front mounting plate of various brand/model cameras, like the ZWO6200 or the like, giving up virtually no further back-focus distance. You'd need a very short or modified Allen key to adjust them in situ though.

That sounds good. What are the details of that?

+1 to Greg's question to Joshua. I'm curious too :D.
Another is the Photon Cage but that's quite $$$ too.

For this particular camera, it adds about 10mm of backfocus, +/- 2mm for backfocus adjustment. Its a bit of a big unit for this camera, because its a square camera, round cameras like the ZWO and QHY ones would make the unit smaller and lighter. Its also got +/- 2mm or lateral movement if your chip is not centered on the optical axis.
Its also not the lightest thing, as there are 4 main components to it, but future versions and ones for round cameras can be lighter.
Cheers
