Moonlite Motorised focuser with V2 controller

Yes and yes. I have a Moonlite focuser with a (mini) V2 controller. Control of the focuser is easy with NINA. Just download and install the ASCOM driver from the Moonlite website.

It's easy to find short USB cables but I'm guessing your question is about the serial cable connecting the controller to the focuser. It is just a straight through serial cable with DB9 male and female plugs. The shortest I've found is 50cm (https://au.rs-online.com/web/p/serial-cables/2369118) but if you want shorter, and you know how to use a soldering iron, the parts are easily found and assembled.
