:confused2:When I get a chance I like to do the easy crossword in the Australian Newspaper. A while back there was a 6 letter gap with the clue "A satellite of Saturn". Well obviously it was not Titan nor was it any of the other major players. I resorted to Google, and even then it took a bit of research. Answer Helene. A Trojan moon discovered in 1980. Previously known as S/1980 S6 with a mean radius of 17.6km. Certainly not significant considering there are now about 82 named satellites of Saturn. I would be interested to know how many planetary astronomers out there on the forum that would know this one!!

But, as any avid crossword solver (I am one) would know:

- the planetary moons are assigned names from the ancient greek myths;
- the intersecting words provide 2 maybe 3 letters;
- for 6 letters, 2-3 letters would suffice to identify the name.

And without actually knowing or consulting any list of Saturnian moons.
