It was supposed to be cloudy this morning so we didn't intend to image at all, but it turned out to be mostly clear with just a few annoying clouds. So we set up late but the good news was that we could use our proper location and mount. We were a bit rushed so didn't bother with the SSM today, thinking we would just grab a full disk. But for the first time in ages we did try some Ha closeups with the 102mm refractor but they are "soft". The full disk still has that towering prom in the NW, a floating prom on the west that disappeared later in the day (interesting that we couldn't find any of the GONG sites showing it arriving or developing), a messy array of proms in the SW and a big filament in the SW that also lifted off later in the day.
We took a full disk mosaic in Ha.
Yesterday we measured the towering prom in the NW to be about 130,000km, approx 10 Earths tall. Today it looked to be around 9 Earths tall. Still impressive however.
We also took a close up of the central northern region of filaments and one of the south west active regions and messy array of proms.
