Friday session 17 -03- 2023

Another scorcher in Brisbane today, but the seeing was great. I imaged till the ambient temperature on my telescope hit 40 degrees celsius. Then I packed up as the Quark went off band due to the heat and the ASI432mm was registering a chip temperature of 50 degrees celsius even with my cooler.

Nice time lapses and images Martin.
You certainly get the dedication award being out there in those temperatures. You wouldn't have wanted to push that camera temperature much higher! Good call to pack up when you did.

Thank you Clare and Peter, I never image in the heat. I do it remotely from inside the house, I would last about 10 minutes out in the heat.

Definitely the way to image Martin. We also are always inside but we do have to set up and take down and hopefully have the equipment survive :)
