Anyone had Shoulder Surgery? Arthritis joint replace

So I had some bad news today concerning my right shoulder, basically it's stuffed: rotator cuff tear, Bursitis and Arthritis. I am weighing up options. Like to hear from anyone of advanced years re the pro and cons of a shoulder reconstruction verses just managing the situation. Thanks

Hi Glen I had a shoulder reconstruction in 2007 (57) ,while still working I had it done again 2015(65) because I didn't listen to the surgeon and tried to lift more then I could. It is a straight out operation about 1 to 2 hours and if you follow the rehab you will have no problem ,good luck mate it's better then putting up with the pain
