Hi,

The Nexstar mount is an computerized alt-az, and is what I had used with my 90mm Maksutov on it - for viewing and imaging solar eclipses from my home. The mount was used infrequently, never travelled - works fine and the hand controller had been updated with the latest firmware. I have the original box but due to its size (length), would probably suit a local buyer who can pick it up.

The hand controller is a Nexstar updated to 4.21 back in Jan 2013. Motor controllers updated to 5.18 also at the same time. Included with the mount is the Celestron version of The Sky Level 1 cd, plus a Nexstar observer cd.

This was originally part of the Nexstar 80SLT, but the OTA was sold in 2014. I thought I keep it as a travel mount, but it's been in its box since then, until yesterday when I got it out to test it. All working well - $180 ono.

Attaching a photo of the mount and the box. Doesn't come with eyepieces, ota or the serial cable.

The mount takes a standard dovetail - either direct on the ota or via a right angle adapter. Using the ota directly - you can take the round plastic piece off by removing 4 screws, then the ota can sit closer to the dovetail.
