Hi all

Please see the link below to an animated gif that I've put together.
Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to attache it here given the file size restrictions..

This GIF is made up of 61 individual frames, reconstructed from one solar scan at increments of 0.063A from one image to the next.

I thought that it might be interesting to show the change in the suns appearance through that journey of about 4A across the Ha line.

Apart from the image reconstruction, no processing (other than to resize) was carried out on the frames.
These are shown as they are generated by the reconstruction software.

I do have a much larger version which is quite amazing to look at.
It is interesting that at only 2A from the Ha line we are well and truly in the continuum.
