Comet 2022 E3 ZTF, last night Saturday February 11. Had 90 minutes of dark between end of twilight and moonrise.

Lovely shot Joe. Best I've seen so far . I'm struggling to get an opportunity to capture this myself, with the weather conditions at the moment. Maybe near to the end of this week I may get a chance. I was going to ask you what lens and camera did you use, then I read the small print!

That is so awesome to see the two together like that. Nicely timed capture, well done.

Always read the fine print
I put that info on most of my images. Just makes it easier to work out when you come back to the image years later.
I have cropped so that this is displaying approximately 1/3 of the full frame. I wanted a wider field of view so that I didn't miss any potential faint long tail. With a such a short time window of dark sky, no time to muck around this weekend. With the Moon out of the way, my skies were pretty dark, at least Bortle 2 last night. As the comet fades through the week, tail length reduces, you can probably go to a larger aperture longer FL optic.
