Comet ZTF from 43 degrees south at Kingston, Tasmania last night when close to Mars.

EAA observation with all processing completed within the live stack. 20 minute total exposure: 150 X 8 second frames stacked in SharpCap 4.1 Beta. Gain 300. Vixen ED103S (@f5.3) and ASI385 camera. No post processing.

The comet tracking feature in SharpCap 4.1 works seamlessly and gave good resolution of the core. Some gaps in the star trails were from SharpCap pausing the stack when clouds passed through.

Steve,
Nicely done. Thanks for sharing. You wouldn't have had much altitude to work with from Tassie? ~15 deg?

Thanks Stephane, Joe and David.

Our very long twilights down here mean a late start. The comet was at about17 degrees at the start of the stack and at 13 degrees when I called it quits with the comet being swallowed up by a tree nebula.
