After another dismal 5 days of clouds and cold weather (it's meant to be summer!!) the clouds finally broke up this afternoon. Again this means imaging in not the best conditions, but that wasn't going to stop us. The seeing was an average of 3.4 arc seconds with a standard deviation of 0.9. Due to this we only took Ha images and used our 72ED scope for close ups. By the time we did get to view today, all of the exciting prom activity of the last couple of days had completely gone :( Still the full disk had many interesting filaments and 9 active regions.
