Final BG image also used for the foreground
Star minimisation in Pixinsight

Quite a procedure you went through to achieve a nice smooth result Tony. Hats off to you for taking this so early in the season and so early in the morning! I don't get to see M8 that low near the eastern horizon very often. :thumbsup:
