Hi all, here's one from last weekend. Images were taken with the 12" and DSI II at f/3.3 in Alt/Az using Envisage.
It was further processed and stacked in Maxim.
Images were taken as follows:
150 @ 4 seconds each in Lum.
50 each in RGB @ 4 seconds each.

Cheers :)

No worries Ken, it's come up a treat. It sometimes gets a bit tricky with the laptop and the LCD screen depending on the angle you have it at.
A second pair of eyes can be very helpful.

Yep, I know what you mean, Ric.
I capture on a laptop and it's hard to see how the image will look until I get it onto the PC and see it on the CRT monitor.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I am going to revisit it on the weekend and increase the exposure times up to 20 - 30 seconds per sub that should make a difference.
when I get out of Alt/Az mode and into Equatorial I'll be able to jump up to nice long exposures but wedges take a lot of saving, blooming expensive things.

Cheers

Thanks guys, It's just on 12 months now since I've had the LX200R and the DSI II Pro and I'm loving every minute of it.
