Found the Swan between the clouds last night.
It fits perfectly in the FOV of the Gstar.
The stars are pixelated, this only really came through after converting the image to .jpg it wasn't as noticable as a .bmp. Very annoying.

Just lovely - this is the first time I have been able to actually visualise a Swan as the shape of this Messier object. Previously I just didn't get it.
Cheers

Thank you Dennis.
LOL
Yes, those images that show heaps of detail spoil the "Swan" effect.

Dennis you will have to start looking through the eyepiece of your telescope instead of taking pictures,it is amazing what the human eye can see:thumbsup: Ron

If the Creator had meant us to actually peer through telescopes, he would have specified, designed and built a one eyed humanoid with a neck that has slow motion controls and fine adjustments.;)
So there! :P

I use the Gstar for a finder and guider camera. For meteorites they can not be beat.
If you want to try out some c-mount lenses that fit the GstarEX let me know as I have got quite a collection only because I am slightly obsessed. You are welcome to borrow any lens for the GstarEX I have.
Bert
you know jeanette, that loks much like my eyepice view (except narrower).
well done.
