You should be happy John...round stars, decent focus and the colour by my eye is perfect...getting anything is a good day...well done.

Thanks. Still I think I like narrowband versions of this target

I agree with Alex - the stars and focus are good, there's detail in the nebulosity.

What don't you like about it?

Cheers,

Nice one John. Very neat and crisp. Can you share your capture details?

I would have posted earlier but I'm lazy.

The image comprises of
120s x30 Sii
120s x30 Oiii
120s x30 Green
120s x197 Ha

I use a zwo electronic focus with one of the focus routines in Sharpcap.
All the zwo filters seems fairly much parafocal and often I just change the filter and keep shooting.

Visually the night seemed to have little twinkle to them (that as scientific as I get)

My Losmandy G-11 needs some work but PHD2 claimed the RMS errors were usually just over 1 px.

So basically all of the equipment is WO & zwo stuff in my sig block.

Used pixinsight to stack and do all its wonderful calibration stuff.

Basically just added Ha*Sii together to make Red, Used the Green as Green and Oiii as Blue. Then I used pixinsight to calibrate the colour off star charts.

There is almost no other processing. In the past this seems to just leave artifacts. I'll try to post a link to a png version on google images. The jpg looks bad.

This I find amusing it's the Ha channel with Starnet removing all the stars.
