Last night we imaged the first quarter Moon. This is not our usual mosaic, just a quick single panel image. Too many clouds to do a mosaic. Jupiter is now very low in the sky (lower than Mars when we took this) but we managed to capture Io and it's shadow plus Callisto. Last was Mars. The seeing was average. The planet season is coming to an end just like the year.

Gotta love the moon...

Still a nice representation of images, nonetheless. And I do know what you mean about the seeing - it's been terrible in this neck of the woods, so it only adds to the appreciation of what you've achieved. :2thumbs:

Nice work guys! Yes just the final glimpses now. I had some nice views on the same night and enjoyed the double shadow transit. Was tempted to get the camera and laptop out, and then it started raining… kinda sums up the year for me lol

Thanks David :)
We saw the double shadow earlier on but there was cloud and it wasn't possible to capture it. It was good to see however!
