When we started the sky was clear, so we leisurely started taking videos of Europa approaching the limb of Jupiter with the intention of capturing the whole transit. But then we noticed clouds hovering on the horizon, so quickly slewed to a very low Mars (it just made it to 20 degrees) for a couple of videos and then returned to Jupiter just as Europa was touching the limb and watched as Io appeared from behind Jupiter's shadow. Then the clouds ended play.
We have included Stellarium's Mars simulation for the time of our image and it correlates well with our image.

Fine work! The image of Jupiter and Europa is very nicely done.
I know what you mean about the clouds rolling in...

Thanks Warren. We made a short animation of Europa starting it's transit and Io appearing from the shadow. We had to stop when the clouds arrived. Unfortunately we've given up trying to get animations under 200kB to post here.
