Hi,
I have just purchased an SW MAK 127 scope on wifi mini AZGTi mount and realised it's probably worth looking into having a larger battery pack as a power option, so if anyone could offer info on what I need to be looking for that would be appreciated.
Also is there a way to connect to mains power when using it at home ? I'd like to avoid the need for small AA batteries when possible.
:)

I use a Bluetti EB55

https://www.bluettipower.com.au/products/bluetti-eb55-portable-power-station
which are on sale at the moment to power my mount (a HEQ5) computer, dew heater, etc. when in the field. Can't fault it.

Can't speak as to a direct power link from the mains, as I've never done that.

You can purchase 240v to 12v lighter socket, usually 7.5 amp, more than enough to run a small setup. Just made me realise I don't use mine, everything runs off my 120AH battery - it might be in the classifieds very soon.

Cheers,

Just don't buy one from Amazon. I did, but never received it. When I followed up; I was told that the seller was no longer on Amazon.

I have brought many books and eyepieces from Amazon. It was only this item that caused me grief.
