I figured I'd give imaging a go during the full moon, as you do. The gradients were combatted (mostly) by stretching with Generalised Hyperbolic Stretch in PI, Local Intensity = 15, after trying all day in vain to background extract them. No background extraction. Used a synth Lum. And "just a touch" of saturation

ASI1600MM + Antila Pro
4hrs each SHO
90s 200g 25o -10C

Nina + APP + PI

Tips, tricks & criticism most welcome.

A very excellent image John. Perhaps it should be you giving the tips and tricks.

Very nicely done! The colors palette is tasteful. For a picture on a full moon night its actually quite awesome

Love the colour palette, this is the 1 target I can get from my backyard at the moment. You have inspired me to try.

Hey John,

One of my favourites.

Skillfully handled during a full moon.

Wish I could give you some advice on gradients but I am trying to figure it out as well.

Did you use a dew shield? I think a big dew shield helps a little bit when it comes to the moon.

Thanks,

Dilshan

Thanks Dilshan, yeah the EON85 has a built in dew shield. The moon was more than 60 deg away so that helped.
