Last Saturday we went with a group of other astrophotographers to a dark site around 130 km SE of Perth, WA.
We had an almost clear view of the Northern skies which made most of us pointing our scopes towards M31.
It was only at maximum 16 degrees that night.
Unfortunately the wind was horrendous and plagued the guiding.
I only ended up with 65 minutes of data for the final image.
Next time I will reduce the exposure time.
The first processing didn't make me happy, I was very disappointed with the result and thought the weekend had been a waste of time.
Then yesterday someone mentioned to me how he did the processing, so I tried it.
Now I am happy enough to share it.
