We imaged the moon last night between our first and second Jupiter images. This is a 6 panel mosaic taken with our 6" SCT and ASI178MC.

Beautiful shot guys. This has me interested in trying a mosaic myself (if I see a clear night again)

Oh I DO like that, very well done indeed.
You've got a great level of detail there, and the central peak in Theophilus is nicely visible. Really fine bit of work, my congratulations.

Thanks Dean. The mosaics are fun to do and enable you to get much higher resolution than a single full disk image. Hope you get a chance to try one soon. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about the lousy weather this year other than wait and hope.

Thanks very much Warren.
We really enjoy imaging the moon at the different phases trying to see the many features. We have just recently started to look at the Lunar 100 to discipline our viewing a bit more.
