Sharing for fun. As I continue learning how to use PI and various scripts (thanks John aka Oska), I am increasingly impressed. I've learnt only a few % of its capabilities but now feel comfortable taking on a project. Soooo I thought I'd reprocess the OSC (with UHC filter) M16 data I got earlier in the year. The PI result looks a lot different to the messy bright orange image I produced a few months ago using APP and PS :-)

Good to see you're getting the hang of PI. I don't have any experience using it but it seems it can be quite a challenge to make it work for you. The learning curve is evident with this nicely processed image.

Really good result Alex. Looks like you're more than "getting the hang" of it to me, I'll bet the swear jar is getting full :)

Thanks folks, I appreciate the feedback :D My current PI efforts are more like experiments in pulling data sets apart, recombining them in various ways, then going berserk with PI’s tools to extract/enhance things. PI still does my head in and I frequently mutter lots of naughty words but once you start getting the hang of it’s ‘philosophy’, it begins to make sense.
