As always, criticism, tips most welcome.
And a poorly stretched one that had too much hydrogen (4hrs of 90s 200g) and a severe calibration issue, caused by the slightest rotation of the camera (bumped?) between lights & darks, fixed later by registering with "nearest neighbour" interpolation in either APP or PI

Great set of images, John.
The blue one I like the best, being all swirly and detailed and so many things for the eye to focus on.The green one (...Combination_SR1) looks suitable creepy and plague-like...
Cheers,
V
Thanks Alex.
Cheers Steve, I couldn't decide on how I wanted to combine them, I like the SHO the best too ;)

Superb wide-field, John. I envy your skies mate. I’m a sucker for palettes with blue so that’s my fave. That said, I wonder if it’s possible to blend some of the blue image with the red/green to draw out some blue colour in and around the core? The green image reminds me of what I see visually with my 14” dob. Love your work  Alex
Cheers Alex! Ok, after a little swearing

Lolz, your PI swear-jar will be as full as mine John  That’s excellent John, you truly nailed the blend in IMHO and the advantage of a mono+filter setup is shining through. Did you accomplish that with pixelmath and masks? Alex
Cheers Alex^2
I tried a whole bunch of things, but from memory I think I made 2 pixel math combinations of the SHO & HOrgb 50/50 & 60/40 and then combined those, I think. Then made a softened green mask (BB) and then curves: a, blue and a touch of desaturation, I think. I kept the SHO open as I tweaked it until the blue was roughly the same.
