I have a file in my computer labelled "Astrojunk", and an area under my shelving and desk in the obs where I literally store my reality Astrojunk.
As I've got another set of bino's coming, thought I would shamelessly copy/design a quick mount to suit. Into the junk pile, an old camera mount, an old weightlifting weight, and a spare "T" track from the woodwork room.
Rough, but infinitely adjustable, quick adjust counterweight, and totally irrelevant indexing graduations. But it's also red, and cost nothing.
Works relatively well, a little torsion wibble, but one finger steadies that out quickly. And comfortably positioned on the old reliable pipe mount.
