Hi all,
My first ever image of NGC 253 the Sculptor/Silver Coin Galaxy. I've always liked how its NGC number appears to rhyme!
It was great to get out to dark(ish) skies for the first time in over a year and amazingly, the weather even held. Conditions were a bit blustery (and the seeing was rubbish for most of the time) but hey you can't have everything!
Exposure: 3 hours 20 mins
Telescope: Skywatcher MN190
Camera: ZWO ASI2600mc
Higher resolution image available here: astrobin NGC 253 (https://www.astrobin.com/ulaexm/C/)
*note - repro added - second image*
Comments & critiques welcome. :)
Pete.
