Hi,
I have put my AM5 into alt az mode. I am trying to do some planetary photography on an edge 9.25.
However when I turn tracking on the stars drift out of the FOV quite quickly. I believe I have followed the mechanical instructions to put the mount into ALT AZ mode.
I am aligning using a plate solve on my ASIAir pro and it says plate solve successful and it synchs to mount OK.
I am unable to plate solve through the 9.25 as the FOV is too small for the ASI Air pro so am plate solving through my 250 mm guide scope.
The guide scope is not very well aligned with the main scope but in eq mode it is good enough to guide with.
Could the fact that guide scope and main scope are not aligned and I plate solve through the guide scope cause the tracking issue?
Thanks in advance for any help :)
Cheers
Paul
