Well got the big gun out on Saturday night and managed 3.75 hours in total before the clouds came in. 15 x 5 minute exposures in each Ha, SII and OIII. For such little integration time I'm loving the potential of this target so will make this my focus for the next few weeks and see what I can get. Was hard to get the colours right with so little integration time, but it allowed me to play with Pixinsight and practice my Mono processing at least :)

Askar 107PHQ with 2600mm Pro, Antlia 3nm Filters, -10 Deg, 300 sec subs @ Gain 100. EQ6R-Pro mount, controlled by NINA.

Wow, that came out allright Murray! It's got that "floating in space" feel that the Tarantula often has in images, nice. In regard to your desire to add more data, not sure how much more it could be improved really  but worth a try ...

Very nice Murray - appears very deep and detailed - especially for such a modest total exposure.
Great colours too. :)

That is a very vibrant image. You must be happy with the new setup.

I wonder how your scope compares with an FSQ106. They are $12500 now!

Ouch, yeah I was initally looking at the Skywatcher Scopes in this focal length, then the Askar came out and the price was amazing. Also not having to worry about back spacing, a mighty beefy focuser, and just overall quality made it a no brainer for me. With the 2600mm, it's pretty much the perfect focal length for my usage and I can mosaic if needed for larger targets. With an OAG, and a good EQ6R-Pro, from 45 x 5 minute subs I didn't trash a single one.

Oh yes :)

Clean, punchy, loads of detail. I love it!!! Amazing first light. Nice one, Murray.
I love your colours. Wish mine came out like that.

Very very impressed for just 3.75 hours of data as well
