Sharing for fun - good ol' Spidey  Continuing to dive further into the choppy and deep end of the pool where PI swims. This is the same dual NB data I used previously in APP and PS, except I've now processed everything in PI including stacking and integration. The orange/green is an attempt at HOO using PI's RGBCombo while the red/blue uses PI's NBRGB tool (... also used many, many other tools that are the heart and soul of PI). I haven't got a workflow going yet, but I'm starting to get a sense of what works for NB vs OSC - I really like PI and will keep it! The forum's image compression has probably throttled these images a bit, but hopefully you get the idea.

I like the blue one :D Thanks for looking. Alex

Good stuff Alex. I like the blue one too ;)
Have a squiz at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IkmqbilqI0
The PI scripts are linked in the description. They are the Bill Blanshan stuff.
Have you got Starnet2 and the ez Processing Suite as well?

Thanks John … learning learning, always learning  I do have those Bill Blanshan scripts but haven’t yet tried them, might do that tonight with the handy tute/vid you’ve provided (thanks for that too). I do have Starnet2 but prefer the results from StarXterminator as it always seems to produce a ‘cleaner’ result, and I have dabbled with the Ez Proc Suite but not much. I need to work less and play more  Alex

Cool ;) Yeah I agree StarX is better but as my dear ol' grandmother would say about Starnet "the price recommends it". NoiseX is much faster than ezDenoise. The other BB scripts like the colour masks and star reduction are very helpful too.

On the work front best I can offer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8An2SxNFvmU

Good work, Alex.

I "vote" for the blue one as well. There's something about the colour balance that looks better than the all-pink one.

Cheers,
V

Fantastic.. I like the purple one.
You really have done a fantastic job I only wish I could reach your level of skill.

Thanks Alex, Steve and John. Dunno about ‘skill’ Alex, for me, using PI is more akin to meandering aimlessly around a large and heavily cluttered hall with only a small candle to light the way - everything is a surprise

Yep John, your dear old G’Ma is a wise lady indeed. I love ‘free’ (as in beer) and my wise finance minister encourages it, but once I’d used StarX and NoiseX I was hooked … I shudder to think of the dosh I’ve spent on this hobby :D The Spidey is on my list of summer projects soooooo if the clouds ever go away, I’ll give it another crack. But I want to use my EdgeHD8 = more dosh to get it up a running! Alex
