I'd say it had been hacked, Steve wouldn't as for "PP F&F" payment.
I'm trying to contact him privately.

I have spoken to Steve by phone, and he has confirmed his IceInSpace account had been hacked, as well as his CloudyNights account.
The listing that I saw, as did others, was a scam.
Hopefully the admins will take cognizance of this and allow him back, he's a tad peeved about being chopped off, understandably, although understands why he has.

These are going to be trying times for us all...........“caveat emptor” being the general rule of thumb. It's even becoming hard to determine actual confirmation of identity of "known" entities.

A couple of recent ads in other platforms have recently been discovered/uncovered, particularly relating to used Celestron gear,(& watches and cameras). The party goes by two different names and purports to be in either Stockton or Corrimal, NSW. The platform was pretty quick to take down the listings when informed though.

Please note, I suspended the account not because of Steve but because the account was hacked.
I had no other choice and I didn’t want to go into details on the forum but yes this is what happened.
The moderators were alerted and we monitored the posts to make sure it was a hack.
Once we verified it wasn’t really Steve, it was the only action I could take.

If anyone can let Steve know to contact Mike Salway and he’ll reinstate the account.

We had to make sure before we took action on Steve’s account while at the same time protect our members.

It was the best outcome considering the circumstances.

Just been reading about the hacked account and that there is another suspicious account , one being supposedly in Corrimal, where I am domiciled . Certainly hope that it is not my account that has been hacked and if you can verify where in Corrimal they are "based" , I could pay a visit, with a few friends.
