This is our minor addition to the moon eclipse frenzy of last night. One image fully eclipsed and the second as the shadow just began to move off.

Nice and sharp, great result P & C as usual, we were lucky the afternoon storms cleared in time.

Thanks Dennis. There was a huge difference in brightness between the eclipse and when the moon was fully uncovered again. So definitely fairly dark during the eclipse phase.

Thanks Michael. Absolutely correct, we did well in Melbourne. The clouds cleared at just the right time and stayed away long enough for the whole second half of the eclipse to be observed. The only issue we had was later in the night there were insane amounts of dew. That's when we gave up :)
