Hi
Just for something not posted much, some lunar close ups of some hoary old favourites. Taken in reasonable seeing with the 180mm Mak and ZWO290mc, best 500 of 2000 frames. Thanks for looking.

Ooooh they’re lovely!! Very nice detail revealed with your mak well done!!
And absolutely hilarious cause I think I was (for the first time in ages) doing some lunar imaging myself and hit some of the same views as you did and was just saying to myself gee I haven’t seen any lunar closeups posted for a while

Nice images Jeff. Particularly the detail in the bottom of Gassendi crater. Love a good moon close up :)

Thanks for your kind comments everyone, the images are not as crisp as I'd like, imaging at f24 in average seeing was probably overdoing it a touch but I wanted to get in close , if possible .
Will have to start aiming at some more obscure regions in the future though.
I'll leave the super sharp wider images to Mr Haugh, a master at the genre.

I think they're quite nicely done, some fine detail shown here. My compliments!
Lovely pictures , always like the interesting detail you find in Gassendi.

Thanks Jeff, almost like being there. Schiller really is an odd shape isn't it.
