4th Nov. 1.10 UT.
A few clouds today but better than rain and all cloud.
The sunspots are mostly in the northern hemisphere. Both images are single exposures taken with a Canon 550d camera attached to an 81 mm WO refractor with Herschel hedge at 540 nm. Active regions are numbered. There is a new sunspot coming into view on the north eastern limb.
Most regions are small. Thanks for viewing.

Good photos John. It has been a while since the sky has been clear enough for solar photography.

Great captures John. As you say, not the best of conditions but a whole lot better than recent times. The clouds didn't clear here til after 2pm, which unfortunately meant that the seeing was a bit ordinary.
