Looks like a few people are imaging Andromeda at the moment.
This is my attempt with a 72mm Evostar scope and the Alt-Az goto mount from my Celestron 6SE.

Travelled out to Kurrajong to give it a try. Usual battle with clouds so did not get a lot of data but pleased with this preliminary result.

Mate that’s a really nice effort we’ll done! Looks like it’s perfectly framed for your setup. And a good target for short exposure alt-az imaging

Thanks David.

Looking forward to getting more images under better conditions.

Nice job Richard tried to capture this the other night but the observatory wall was a bit to high might have to try a portable rig. It is not above the Northern horizon very long.
Clear skies Ken.

Hi Ken,

Agree, being so far north from Sydney there a limited window of opportunity. Hope you get a chance to image it.

Richard.

It's not only the clouds to battle Richard but the low elevation of this northerly object makes it a challenge for our latitudes. Given this you've presented a respectable result for sure.
