Hi All
Finally had some clear dry skies last night and took the opportunity to image the planets. The seeing , yet again, was not great, maybe 4-5 / 10 but considering the lack of clear skies this season, just had to do something.
Managed to catch an shadow transit of Io and waited till later to try and image Mars as well but the seeing had deteriorated, partly due to Mars altitude and imaging over the rooftop.
Thanks for looking.

Cheers.

And some more of the transit.

Jeff,
You’ve managed a nice sequence of the transit and although seeing was below average you’ve banked a more than respectable capture.
This season has starved us of decent imaging of the planets so glad you got out there at least.
Hope to glimpse Mars soon when the weather permits.
Cheers
Anthony

Good capture of the transit Jeff.

This year has certainly been a case of having to take whatever you can get from the meager number of opportunities available. Good images all the same. In particular Mars is looking good.

Thanks for your comments everyone, a lot of us have been struggling this year with unfavourable conditions but we catch what we can, when we can.
