Mars from last night and Saturn from the 15 of October.
Skywatcher 300PDS 12" Newtonian, ZWO ASI 183mm Pro, Saturn in LRGB and Mars in RRGB with Svbony LRGB filters.

I would never have thought the ASI 183mm Pro would be suited for Planetary imaging .. but here you have it .. the results prove me wrong. Really nice results.

Top shelf images, lots of detail in there to admire. Well done and can I have some of the good seeing you seem to be getting at our expense , down here, south of the border.

I think the 183mm is better for planets than deep sky. It's underrated for the purpose.



Nah, you can't Jeff, I want it lol. Not getting good seeing that often, but with Saturn the high elevation helps too.

These are exceptional for a 12" Newt. You just have had amazing seeing, something i can only dream of :)
