An igniters check would be a nice wakeup call. During my time in the RAAF I heard stories about people crawling into intakes for a snooze ..

That's exactly what I did Hans at RAAF Wagga 50 years ago ....at the completion of our training on Aircraft Engines, we had a few hours to kill in our Hanger.

We has just pushed a F86 Sabre Fighter Jet into the hanger ( de-commissioned of course ) and parked it....so I jumped into the intake and laid down for a restful afternoon while the other lads ' tinkered ' in the cockpit and sat on its wings....and other ' tom foolery ' antics.

Of course I was warned about having the igniters switched on, but I knew no batteries or ground power was plugged in....they were just ' jossing ' me ...we all had a good laugh.
