This from a few days ago, as mentioned by others, not the best conditions but at least there was no cloud! Captured with a 8 inch Newt, 5X Powermate and ASI224mc. Jupiter was a combination of about 5 video grabs taken later in the night as conditions improved with the GRS nearing the meridian. Saturn was captured earlier in the night when the seeing was terrible. I was surprised to see the result I got of Saturn from the rubbish I gave Autostakkert to sort through.

Those are really nice shots well done! I’m experiencing the majority of this planet season through everyone else’s shots so please keep ‘em coming!! Is it just my screen or does the saturation look quite heavy?

Thanks Dave and yes, you're probably right with the saturation. I pushed it a bit too far on Jupiter I think. Before I posted it I opened it up in Windows Photo Viewer to check them out and I thought Jupiter and Saturn could do with more colour. However, on viewing them on my phone, they do look a bit rich, especially Jupiter, it's also too red. The problem with uncalibrated screens I guess.

Nice captures there Michael. With the seeing of late you've just got to try and hope for the best. It's the new lucky, lucky, lucky imaging :)

Looks good Michael, keep them coming!

The weather has been very poor this season and I have a feeling (said this to my neighbors last December), this summer and the next 3-5yrs is going to be a wet one.
