Trifid with DSLR

Hi again, here is my attempt at trifid with DSLR
102x1min guided and dithered, also D,F,DF and bias frames
EQ6R, SW quattro 250, quattro corrector, unmodded canon 600D, guiderfinder, asi120mms
sharpcap for polar alignment, BYEOS,DSS, Startools,

A great image of the Trifid, Rob. Well done with balancing the bright stars and the rather dim blue section of the nebula. The only thing I can suggest is a bit more colour saturation of the blue / red / purple areas of the gas and dust clouds.

Nice one Rob. You've got the detail in the pink bit pretty good without blowing out the double star which aint easy. Your stars are great. There is more blue to be had in the blue cloud, I don't know ST very well as yet, maybe by selecting "scientific" at the colour(?) stage in ST. IMO the trifid likes a bit of star reduction too.

I have to agree, I think the stars are rendered very well indeed. Lovely bit of work.
