Another Helix

First shot at the Helix Nebula - I am also looking at extra data like others on this site. I am happy that I got my system working after so many days of rain and clouds. I love the detail that Chris has achieved so far. :-)

P.S. I have attached a new image made from last nights data. I used longer subs on the Ha band. Tomorrow I will post an image combining 3 nights data.

That’s a great image Peter! I really love the detail you’ve extracted around the core. More integration of course will help with noise and the outer shells. Great work!
