About 2.5 hours with my unmodded Canon 700d and GSO RC6.
Looking east from my place is Devonport. I suspect all the noisy mess on the bottom half of frame is the light dome from Devonport since the target was only at about 39 degrees above the horizon when I started shooting .
3 minute exposures at iso1600 with darks, flats and bias frames.
I'm feeling the need for a dedicated astro camera.
thanks for looking

You have done very well but if you can get yourself an astro camera it is a worthwhile investment for many reasons but the bottom line is you will get better results.
You are clearly at a level where the good old DLSR is holding you back...
However your results are excellent with your current gear so don't feel compelled to change if you don't feel comfortable about an upgrade.

+1 on Alex’s comment. Beautiful image with some nice detail. Great work!
You’re probably beginning to find the boundaries of what you can accomplish with your DSLR. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with that, but a dedicated astronomy camera will no doubt take your imaging to the next level.
Nice Mark. Alex is spot on, again. But once you have one...
You might be able to get this to be less noisy by stretching it less, but only by a fraction. Just a guess.

Good work, Mark. It's a small target you chose and you've done well to get such a good image.
