Its my fault really:eyepop:

I told the crew of the mother ship to pick me up in New South Wales and somehow they thought I said South Wales and at the time of the observation they were stopped looking at the map;) ... Its a pity its overcast as they will be flying by later:D . The radar cloaking is working OK but something is on the blink with visual cloaking but as you guessed the crew is inexperienced and they cant sort out the problem.

There will be a few more ships in the days to come as I am sure the news reports will bear out:lol:   ;) ;) .

Alex, you must have been to see the same used-mother-ship salesman that I did last month. I got a sweet deal on my little Klingon bird-of -prey trade-in. Did you see the green guy with the big eyes in the showroom with the cheezy mustache?

My visual cloaking was supposed to be included in the deal with the sports kit, but I opted for a more family orientated view of airbags rated to protect you in the case of a speed-of-light front end collision.

I see he picked out the lovely green colour you chose, synonymous with the classic, little green men retro 70's style. Mate, you are an interstellar travelling fashion guru with taste!

BTW, did you get the standard 4 billion year extended factory warranty, with free dark matter power fills for 12 months?

I got a bumper sticker for mine that says, "I survived a Roswell fly-by."

Baz.

How the hell can you see something 40 miles away with the naked eye, even if it is 1 mile wide? :screwy:

Yes Baz its hard to know which one to go for:shrug: ..but ours is the gravity rain powered model.. we do come from the Universe next door so we like to use our power systems where possible;) . Still working on some photos and completion of the shed I will prepare something for your site.

Nightsky...dry, dry you say they had the space screen wipers going all the time coming over:lol:   ... I have just seen them off such a pity the clouds were here I bet no one will believe they were here:whistle: .

I was thinking earlier if a few of us around the country called in we saw "it" I bet we would find ten fold the number put up to the call in call in within hours of the hoax.... it would not be the first time.
In the old days that was the way of it anyways... I mean I was never involved in such a hoax but one report seemed to generate multiple sightings.

Maybe he was using a new Meade 127mm triplet

Anyway, if there are aliens out there, or even reading this forum, I'd just like to say :welcome:

Amazing ! two pilots, two planes full of people & not one of them had a digital camera to take a a clear photo of this "UFO". I guess maybe drinks were being served at the time and they were all just to busy !

So who is up for a little practical joke...
We could each say it sort of looked like a big piece of Ice in Space... with a 12 inch space canon;)
And give a remote location where it crashed.. I want the T shirt action and the pie stand ... mmmm we need a spot remote but close enough for people to drive to...parking gotta consider that as well.

Mr Wells you aint seen nothing mate... this gig will blow yours away:lol:   .

I seems like UFO's avoid people with high end DSLR's and telephoto lenses.

Heh.

 Maybe they are Teezer's as Mr Adams puts it.

"Rich kids with nothing better to do than pull up in the middle of nowhere next to some poor soul who no-one is going to believe, then strut up and down making meep meep noises."
"Quite childish really"

Cheers :)

The fact the object was lenticular suggests to me it was sunlight reflected/refracted from some atmospheric density variation. See mirage etc.

These 'objects' are very hard to judge for range and or size even for an 'experienced' observer.

I mean think about it if you really saw something would you really report it if there was no other possible explaination that was something from elsewhere... it may have been a Richard B space hotel .

or if a close encouter after a couple of days thinking about the event if your are smart you would realise you wont win.. if there was someone there what could you do.. I have seen nothing. I think it would be something that could flip you out.. you know the brain signs off...

We may be in for some Summer fun and crop circles with these sightings..irrespective of the explanation of the sightings..that is almost irrelevant to the mood set for Summer things like this will stimulate some minds... maybe it will be a UFO year... they are visiting more often because they are worried about global warming I bet. Entertainment for the masses .. better turnover for pie and t shirt stands.
