I'm having trouble getting NINA to successfully do a 3p PA on my pier-mounted CEM60. Normal operation and plate solving is fine, just the PA that gives an error message re Ascom driver, then msg that 'set' is incorrect, and then a bundle of handy messages from NINA about 'rate needs adjusting', etc, etc.

The PA actually does its thing, plate solves ok and shows an error of about 2 degrees. its the error messages that bug me. My query is where do you set the RA and Dec rates for the mount? you have a choice of Ioptron commander, NINA 3p plugin, NINA scope and imaging scope window. All of which show different numbers. Ioptron commander says both are at .5 sidereal (which I think is correct), NINA says 2.13 and set for sidereal, or 7.500 in the imaging scope window. Confused.

All Ioptron firmware was updated to latest versions last week, and ASCOM is 661. Nina is 2 beta 7.

Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated, and no, I don't know how to get into the NINA discord. Tried once and gave up.

Discord is a dumb choice for support IMO.
try:
"change your slew rate to something else in the tppa options"

Thanks for the response John. Yes, The NINA discord approach does not appeal to me either. For anyone interested in trying it, CN had a link to joining which seems to work: https://discord.com/invite/rWRbVbw

Based on John's suggested troubleshooting approach, 'further rummaging around in the TPPA options page in NINA', I stumbled upon the FAQ link there, midway through the Description section, and voila! all my questions were addressed there: https://tinyl.io/70Mb. Pity the dark text colour makes the link easy to miss. (Tradesman / tools excuse)

Anyway, will try again tonight with the CEM60.
