I wanted to see what NGC 300 would produce in Ha with the RASA.
Unfortunately the mist came in and in retrospect I should do another cull...which I will, but I plan getting RBG and L and see if I can make a go of this object.
30 sec..100 gain. Startools and Photoshop. RASA on EQ8 R Mount Asiar plus.

While I feel your pain about the mist (mine turned into interludes of sleet last night...) it's still a decent effort given the circumstances. And a lot better than anything I've been able to do.
Cheers mate.

Last night was the best so far and I had reasonable images coming in until 3 am and I shut down at 4 am..

At the moment any star time is good. There does seem to be some non-moving high cloud/stuff on the satellite http://satview.bom.gov.au/ (most obvious in infrared) up this way which could be giving you grief?. Looking forward to the rest.

Yes, I agree John as I look at my window and see yet another cloudy night :(
I like what you’ve done, Alex. Makes me wonder what it would look like when combined with some RGB data.
